DeepTay - MAP Policy

Applies to: All DeepTay authorized dealers, distributors, and resellers.

1. Purpose

The Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policy exists to:

Protect authorized dealer margins against price erosion
Prevent online marketplace undercutting of brick-and-mortar retailers
Maintain brand positioning as a quality medical equipment supplier
Ensure a level playing field across all sales channels

2. Scope of MAP Application

MAP applies to advertising, not to selling. Dealers may sell at any price they choose in the shopping cart or post-purchase. MAP governs only the publicly advertised price in any of the following channels:

E-commerce product listing pages (Amazon, Walmart, eBay, independent sites)
Paid advertising (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads)
Email marketing and newsletters
Print flyers, in-store posters, window signage
Social media posts and product showcase images
Comparison shopping engines and affiliate feeds

Shopping cart exception: The actual selling price displayed in the shopping cart, checkout page, or post-order confirmation is not considered advertising and is exempt from MAP. "Add to cart to see price" mechanisms are permitted.

3. Unified MAP Standard

MAP is set per SKU and is unified across online and offline channels. The current MAP for each SKU is available upon request via our Contact Us page and updated at least 30 days before any change takes effect.

4. Dealer Advertising Requirements

Every public product listing must display a price at or above MAP.
"Add to cart for price" is permitted for prices below MAP.
Coupons, promo codes, and discounts that bring the advertised price below MAP are not permitted.
Bundles that include a DeepTay product must show the DeepTay product's standalone advertised price at or above MAP.
Free shipping offers are permitted — they do not count as price reductions for MAP purposes.
Clearance or "final sale" pricing below MAP requires written DeepTay approval.

5. Monitoring & Enforcement

DeepTay monitors authorized dealer advertising through:

Automated marketplace scanning (Amazon, Walmart, eBay)
Manual audits of dealer websites and social channels
Consumer and competitor reports

Violation Penalty Mechanism

Violation	Penalty
1st offense	Written warning + 5 business days to correct
2nd offense (within 12 months)	Account suspension 14 days + MAP compliance training
3rd offense (within 12 months)	Account termination + supply cutoff
Egregious violation (e.g., sustained sub-MAP across multiple SKUs)	Immediate termination

6. Reporting a Violation

If you spot a suspected MAP violation by another seller, report it via our Contact Us page with: SKU, seller name, URL/screenshot, date observed. DeepTay investigates every report within 3 business days.

7. Authorized Dealer Identification

Only authorized DeepTay dealers may sell our products in North America. Any seller not in our authorized dealer list is sourcing product through unauthorized channels and may be subject to:

Marketplace takedown notice
Warranty void for end customers
Legal action for trademark infringement

8. Policy Updates

DeepTay may update this MAP policy at any time. Material changes are communicated to authorized dealers by email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued advertising of DeepTay products after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
